Slow Wine in Stockholm, February 9th

On February 9 Slow Food will present at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm – one of the most prestigious hotels in the world –  the 2017 edition of the Slow Wine guide at a tasting event open to industry professionals. The event will include the presence of 36 producers from listed in the guide, with tasting of their outstanding wines. Join us to preview this innovative guide, discover new wines and meet the people behind the selected Italian wineries that represent Slow Wine values.

Slow Wine will land in the Scandinavian country with its Slow Wine World Tour and, for the occasion, has chosen to organize a joint event with I Vini del Piemonte that, thanks to the experience accumulated over the years in the north European markets, is now considered a leader in the promotion abroad of Piedmontese wineries.

The event will be divided into two separate sessions: one reserved for end users and one for professionals (including importers, representatives of companies that import, restaurateurs, hotels and catering companies with a license to import, representatives of the monopoly and their shops, sommeliers, wine journalists and wine tourism journalists, Swedish sommelier associations and wine bloggers) and will therefore be an excellent opportunity to establish business in Sweden because the producers will get in touch both with the representatives of the state wine monopoly (which manages sales of alcoholic beverages to private bodies), and with companies and importers who manage the import to restaurants and hotels and the resale to the Ho.Re.Ca sector, which is the second channel of the supply of alcoholic beverages in the country.

The aim of Slow Wine and the Consortium I Vini del Piemonte will be that of involving the main actors of a market with great growth – where consumers are very interested in top range Italian wines – such as that of Sweden.
